Ellie Black and William Émard named as members of the team travelling to Liverpool for the 2022 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships

OTTAWA, ON (October 18, 2022) – Gymnastics Canada is pleased to announce the list of athletes, coaches, judges, and support staff who will represent Canada at the 2022 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Liverpool, United Kingdom from October 26 to November 6, 2022.

Canada will have twelve gymnasts travelling to compete in the 2022 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Liverpool, United Kingdom. The competition will be hosted at the M&S Bank Arena from October 26 to November 6, 2022.

Leading up to the World Championships, Denelle Pedrick, Felix Dolci, and Chris Kaji were the top competitors at the 2022 Canadian Championships in May. Felix Dolci, Chris Kaji, Emma Spence, and Laurie Denommée were among the individual medallists at the 2022 Commonwealth Games earlier this summer. Most recently, Ellie Black captured the bronze medal on the Balance Beam at the 2022 Paris World Challenge Cup. At the Szombathely World Challenge Cup, Sydney Turner captured two silver medals in Uneven Bars and Balance Beam.
