Vali Stan - Coach

Vali has been coaching at Flicka Gymnastics Club since 2002. Originally from Romania, Vali coached artistic gymnastics in Israel from 1999 until 2002, when he moved to Canada. Over the past 13 years, Vali has won many titles provincially, nationally, and internationally. Vali has coached all levels of competition in Canada, as well as internationally, where he coached at three World Championships in 2013, 2014, and 2015; the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014, and the Pan American Games in 2015. Vali received the BC Provincial Coach of the Year Award in 2009 and 2014 and was also awarded International Coach of the Year by GCG for 2013 and 2014 and was named Coach of the Year in 2015. He also serves as a Member-at-Large for the Men’s Gymnastics Technical Committee of BC.
